I am sorry I haven't been writing, I haven't always had time at camp and now when I try I can't seem to get into multiply.  Camp is almost over, this was a very good week.  Our speaker was super and it was a good bunch of kids, they could really eat.

Last night we had our reunion at Devils lake.  It is 50 years ago since we graduated from High School.  All of our class was present and two of our teachers.
Frank Sawatsky was a high school teacher,  He is a wonderful Christian man, and one of the class said he was a big influence in her life.  he lives in Minnesota.

Unseeing Eye

What is God doing in your life and you really aren't aware of it?

The days ahve gone by quickly, Yesterday we ate in Hampden at noon, then I went to Cando and cleaned the church and visited with Matt and Mavis.  They had a Heisler reunion over the weekend, all 10 sibblings were there together.  It sounds like they had a fun time.

Yesterday, I forgot to come back and write.  Jack decided early in the morning to go to O'Briens to mow, so I went and helped him.  Everything looks really good.  The rest of the day went by fast, Did a bit of letter writing, pulled weeds in a flower bed in the park, we had some rain showers.  Jerry ate supper with us. It was a good day.

My garden beautifies my yard
   and adds fragrance to the air,
But it is also my cathedral
   and my quiet place of prayer.
so little do we realize that
   the glory and the power
Of Him who made the universe
   lie hidden in a flower!


I reflect on the beauty of God's creation, in the garden and flowers,  It seems that this year the deer are enjoying the flowers more than we, they have eaten off quite a few.  Also the veggies along the edge of the garden fence.  Not a lot I can do about it so I guess just as well to let it go.
Dad and I were going to go flying, but soon after we started a cloud came up quickly so we turned around and came home.  We did mow our lawn and were outside some.

You haven't heard from me for a while.  This was an extremely busy week, and we did a lot of cooking, now I am home, yesterday was a busy day, because after camp and a nap I drove to Cando and cleaned the church, they put new carpet in the basement and foyer, and new linoleum in the bathrooms and kitchen and it required a lot of cleaning, also a lot of glue on the walls, I didn't get that all off but I will work on it next week.

Dad and I were going to go for an air plane ride this morning, but we got started and then saw the clouds, so it was short, the weather has changed quickly.  I hope that you all have a good holiday.
