January 26, 2011

Yesterday, we were back in school.  Each day brings new experiences, and new opportunities tohelp students.  We have some students doing an online class in home living.  since they are special needs students we have to help them more than the regular students.  I color coded the tests for them, then did it with one and was amazed at how well she did.  That was encouraging.  She will require a lot of help with this class, so we are looking at how make it the most effective.

VERSE:
After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of
God boldly.
   -- Acts 4:31

THOUGHT:
Prayer changes us. Prayer calls on God to change circumstances.
Prayer is powerful. Prayer brings revival. Prayer transforms God's
people and brings about salvation. Prayer makes us bold for the
Lord. So why do we find it so hard to find time to pray?

PRAYER:
Majestic God, please raise up prayer warriors who will help
transform your church and who will battle Satan. Please fill your
Church with the Holy Spirit and with boldness. In Jesus' name I
pray. Amen.

This seemed like what I really needed to tell you.  We have a situation with a student who came to our school, but isn't going to be coming back, he ahs needs, and I am sure his mom feels helpless to deal with the situation, then I talk to Janet and she tells about Russ being on jury for a civil case of someone who has been left injuried for the rest of her life,  What will change these situations, only prayer, whether it changes them physically, and God can do that, or if it changes them emotionally, God can do that.  What does God want to do in our lives.

Father, help us to evaluate our lives and what is happening and what you want us to do to change what is happening, Give us a heart of compassion and caring for those about us.  In Jesus name. Amen.
