Perseverance, The Angel of Love
Praying always Ephesians 6:18

Perseverance is the rope that ties the soul to the doorpost of heaven. Not to give up in face of the impossible is humanity's ultimate salvation. It is well called "the perseverance of the saints." for it requires saintly determination to continue on in dedication when all the forces of hell are arrayed against the soul.
Perseverance is to the human spirit what the rudder is to a ship.  It will steer the ship dead ahead in spite of the contrary wind. You must have holy determination, pressing on in defiance of all odds.

I guess another way to say it is 'hang in there' that may sound a bit loose, but it says it.  I am around a few Christians, and I am hearing them being upset at what our government is doing.  I am upset, too.  But can I really change what is happening there? No, So should I get caught into the frustrations and be upset myself?  Not really, all that does is hurt myself physically.  Come on people, there is only one person who can really change the course of events, he is working, and he needs our help.  Remember Moses, when they were in battle and he stood in prayer with his hands raised, and the two men held his hands up and as long as they did there was victory.  The only victory we will see is going to happen through prayer, and we don't see a need to pray until our situation is so desperate that we can't take it anymore.  What does it take to get us to come to that need of really seeking God's help?

What is your situation today, what is upsetting to you, overwhelming, frustrating?  Can you change it?  God is waiting with outstretched hands desiring for you to come to him
Father, we come to you with this day, it is the day you have given us, we rejoice and are glad in it, draw us to you and guide our steps, help us to sense your presence in the midst of what we are experiencing.  Thank you for being there for us.  In Jesus Name. Amen.

Yesterday, started out windy and cold.  There was plenty of snow on the road,  but I  made it to school.  After school, I rested and later we went to Cando, thee was a birthday supper for our pastor and his wife.  It was a fun time together.
